1. Customer Responsibility for Parts Condition
Blast N Coat Limited provides high-quality powder coating services; however, it is the customer’s sole responsibility to ensure that all parts dropped off for coating are in a condition suitable for the process. We do not accept liability for defects, inconsistencies, or imperfections that arise due to the pre-existing condition of the metal.

Customers must be aware that surfaces other than new, clean metal may present issues during the powder coating process. Any previously used, weakened, corroded, or repaired metals can result in minor imperfections in the final finish.

2. Powder Coating on Used, Weak, or Repaired Surfaces
While every effort is made to achieve a smooth and durable finish, powder coating does not conceal existing surface defects such as pitting, rust damage, weld marks, or prior repairs. Customers acknowledge that if the metal being coated is not in an optimal state, the returned product may contain small faults or variations in the finish. This is particularly relevant for items that have been previously removed from another structure, are single-use, or are made from thin metals such as trims. These materials may be more susceptible to warping, distortion, or coating inconsistencies due to their condition and original design.

We recommend that customers inspect and prepare their items appropriately before submitting them for coating. If any specific concerns exist regarding surface preparation, customers should discuss them with us prior to work commencing.

3. No Warranty on Pre-Existing Defects
Blast N Coat Limited does not provide warranties or guarantees against defects that originate from the quality or condition of the metal itself. Any issues arising from a compromised substrate are beyond our control and will not be grounds for refund or rework unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

4. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting items for powder coating, customers acknowledge and accept this policy. Any disputes must be raised prior to the commencement of work, as we cannot take responsibility for imperfections resulting from pre-existing material conditions.
